Refund policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Claymore Australia is operated by COSYCAMP PTY LTD (ABN 30 669 396 105), which also operates Cosy Camp. This policy applies to Claymore Australia purchases. Contact the store shown on your receipt for purchases from Cosy Camp or another retailer; Claymore warranty support is explained in our Warranty & Consumer Guarantees Policy.
1. Your consumer rights
Our voluntary change-of-mind policy is separate from your rights if a product is faulty, unsafe, incorrectly supplied, does not match its description or fails a consumer guarantee. Nothing in this policy excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory consumer law, including applicable New Zealand rights.
The 30-day change-of-mind period, original-packaging conditions, exclusions and 20% restocking fee do not limit valid consumer-guarantee claims. A fault claim does not have an arbitrary 24-hour or 30-day reporting deadline.
2. Change-of-mind returns and exchanges
- Request a return or exchange within 30 calendar days after delivery.
- Goods must be brand-new, unused, unwashed and complete, with original tags, packaging and supplied accessories.
- Provide your order number or other proof of purchase and contact us for return instructions before sending goods.
- You pay return postage. Use a tracked service and suitable protective packaging.
- Original outbound delivery charges are not refunded for change-of-mind returns.
Restocking fee
An approved change-of-mind return incurs a 20% restocking fee, deducted from the amount refunded or credited for the returned goods. The fee is calculated on the amount actually paid for those goods after discounts, excluding delivery charges. It does not apply to valid faulty-product, incorrect-item or other consumer-guarantee claims.
New fees or more restrictive conditions are not applied retrospectively: for orders placed before this update, the terms disclosed when the order was placed apply.
Refund or store credit
After we receive and approve the return, we will refund the eligible amount to the original payment method, or issue store credit if you choose it. Change-of-mind refunds or credits exclude original delivery charges and the applicable restocking fee.
Store credit issued for a Claymore return is redeemable only at Claymore Australia, is not exchangeable for cash, and is valid for 12 months from issue, subject to any longer period required by law. It is separate from the terms of purchased gift cards.
Exchanges
Request an exchange within the same 30-day period. The same condition rules apply, and exchanges depend on availability. We will explain any price difference or delivery costs before you agree. If the requested replacement is unavailable, we will discuss a refund or store credit under this policy.
3. Change-of-mind exclusions
We do not accept change-of-mind returns of used, altered, washed or damaged goods; custom or personalised orders; purchased gift cards; or final-sale, clearance or discounted items that were clearly marked non-returnable when purchased. These exclusions do not remove rights that apply by law.
4. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
Contact us as soon as reasonably practicable, with proof of purchase, the model and a description of the problem. Photos or video may help. Original packaging is not required for a consumer-guarantee claim. Please contact us before posting a damaged lithium-battery product.
We may assess the product and suggest troubleshooting. If there is a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law, you may choose a replacement or refund and may be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Other failures may be resolved by repair or replacement as required by law. A voluntary warranty does not replace these rights.
We will cover reasonable return or collection costs for a valid warranty or consumer-guarantee claim. We will explain whether a prepaid label, collection or reimbursement is appropriate. Keep receipts for reasonable postage you pay. If no covered fault is found, we will explain any proposed assessment, repair or return-freight charge and obtain your agreement before charging it.
Where you are entitled to a refund, it is made using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise. We will not require you to accept store credit instead.
5. How to arrange a return
Email Support@Claymoreoutdoor.com.au or call 0424 184 795. Wait for the return instructions, including any label or collection arrangements that apply to your case.
Authorised returns should be addressed as instructed to:
Claymore Australia / COSYCAMP PTY LTD
Unit 2, 37 Rushdale Street
Knoxfield VIC 3180
Australia
6. Processing time
We process approved refunds or credits within 5 business days of receiving and accepting the return. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the funds. Contact us if more than 15 business days have passed since approval.
7. Freight-quote cancellations and support
If you decline an additional remote-area or oversized freight quote before dispatch, see section 1.6 of our Shipping Policy. That cancellation process is separate from the 20% change-of-mind return fee.
Contact us if you disagree with an assessment so we can review it. Your right to seek assistance from a consumer protection body is unaffected.
