Last updated: 31 July 2026

This voluntary warranty is provided by COSYCAMP PTY LTD trading as Claymore Australia (ABN 30 669 396 105). It applies in addition to, and does not replace, rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

The warranty period starts on the date the product is delivered or, for an authorised retail purchase, the original purchase date shown on the proof of purchase.

Product category Voluntary warranty period
Lighting products 2 years
Fan products 1 year
All other products 1 year

What this warranty covers

During the applicable period, this warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship arising under normal, intended use of a genuine Claymore product purchased new from Claymore Australia or an authorised retailer.

What this voluntary warranty does not cover

To the extent permitted by law, this voluntary warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear or cosmetic deterioration that does not affect normal operation;
  • damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper storage, liquid exposure beyond the product’s verified rating or use contrary to the manual;
  • damage caused by an incompatible charger, power source, accessory or non-Claymore product;
  • unauthorised modification, disassembly or repair;
  • consumable items that have reached the end of their normal service life; or
  • loss, theft or damage that arose after delivery and was not caused by a product defect.

These exclusions apply only to this additional voluntary warranty. They do not exclude a consumer guarantee or remedy that applies by law.

How to make a warranty claim

  1. Contact us at Support@Claymoreoutdoor.com.au or 0424 184 795.
  2. Provide your name and contact details, proof of purchase, the product model or serial number where available, and a clear description of the issue. Photographs or video may help us assess the claim.
  3. Do not send the product until we provide return instructions and a return authorisation. We may first offer troubleshooting or ask to inspect the product.

Authorised warranty returns should be sent only as instructed to:

Assessment, remedies and claim costs

We will assess the claim within a reasonable time. If the claim is valid under this voluntary warranty, we will, at our option and without charge, repair the product, replace it with the same or an equivalent product, or provide another appropriate remedy. Repaired or replacement products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period, subject to any longer right required by law.

We will bear reasonable shipping or collection costs for a valid warranty or consumer-guarantee claim. If assessment shows that the issue is not covered and no consumer-law remedy applies, we will explain the result and obtain your agreement before charging any assessment, repair or return-freight cost.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Consumer-guarantee rights may continue after the voluntary warranty period has expired, depending on matters such as the product, price, quality and expected useful life. There is no fixed 14-day deadline for raising a fault.

New Zealand consumers may also have mandatory rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and other applicable laws. Nothing in this policy limits a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
